Hand painted ceramics

This is a series of porcelain works, where I explored the quick loose brushwork style I am drawn to. Using a long bristled brush to enhance the lack of control, and fast and loose brush work to capture a freshness of movement.

I used live plants to inspire my forms, and keep the likeness in mind whilst painting. I hadn’t had this much fun with ceramics until I really hit my stride combining two mediums I now love: painting and ceramics.

Let me know what you think. Should I do more of this style or continue experiments with glaze only?
